Roasting

The coffee roasting process begins once the beans are loaded into the roasting drum. The beans are constantly agitated in the drum to ensure that they are evenly roasted. During this process, Temperatures are raised progressively from about 180 to 250 °C (356 to 482 °F) and heated for anywhere from 7 to 20 minutes, the beans will undergo a series of chemical reactions that will ultimately determine their flavor and aroma profile.
